My saves don't load, I have the folder from a previous version to save my progress, but now the game won't let me load my saves (the save images are in black and white). What I can do?:((

what happens is that I save the game folder so as not to lose my progress (I don't really remember which version I am in), so when I reinstall the game and want to use the folder that I save, it doesn't grab it and that's why I can't recover my progress, the game doesn't know if it doesn't accept that folder or I'm doing something wrong (although it worked for me before and I had no problems so far with recent versions).

I know but, it's that before I saved my saves folder and then reloaded them in new versions, but now with this version I can't do it anymore:((
